New proposal avoids higher education cuts

The proposal was released by the coalition of senators that approved an earlier version in the upper chamber two weeks ago. You can find details here.
None of the supplemental operating budget proposals in play include general cuts to higher education at this time. But differences remain in other areas that legislative leaders must negotiate before they can adjourn this special session.
