Know Before You Go

Action items:

Agenda & Attendee List 
Here you will find the most up to date version of the trip agenda and attendee list. Any updates to the agenda will be made here. We’ll send out emails if there are any major changes while on the trip.
Transportation & Hotels
  • We will provide coach bus airport-hotel transfer for those on our preferred flight (Alaska Airlines 2140) when it arrives at Tri-Cities Airport at 3:26 pm on Tuesday, August 26.
  • If you are not arriving on this flight and not driving, you will be responsible for your own airport transfer to the hotel. Ubers and taxis are available.
  • Where it’s noted on the agenda, the bus will pick-up at the Courtyard Marriott. This is a 2-minute walk across the parking lot from The Lodge and a 5-minute walk from the TownePlace Suites. We can arrange a pick-up at the TownePlace Suites if needed. Call or text Cat at 509-392-9900 for pick-up.
Dress Code
Due to the number of labs we will be visiting where there are hazardous chemicals, it is required that you wear pants, flat-closed-toe-shoes, and shirts with sleeves (doesn’t have to be long sleeves, but not sleeveless) on our tours. Protective eyewear will be provided at each of our locations.
Aside from the above requirements, the overall dress code is on the casual side of business casual. Dress to be comfortable walking and for the heat.

Other Notes

  • Every morning, we will be departing for the first meeting together and we will have a coach bus taking us from meeting to meeting.
  • If you decide to have a side meeting at any point and you miss the bus, it is your responsibility to rejoin the group. The address for each session is available in the agenda.
  • If at any point you leave the group, please let Dana or Cat know so they can account for everyone.  Their contact information is available below.
