Senate passes amended efficiency bill, goes back to House

The state Senate Friday passed an amended version of House Bill 2613 off the floor with a vote of 49-0. The amendment would match the House bill to its Senate companion Senate Bill 6362.

The legislation would streamline reporting requirements and reduce inflationary costs on some construction projects, improving efficiency in business practices.
