With a vote of 56-41, the House concurred upon and approved House Bill 2585 this afternoon.
This measure seeks to ease restrictions on business practices relating to procurement, travel, direct deposit and advance purchasing of maintenance agreements. The bill is the largest among a package of regulatory relief bills for higher education debated in the Legislature this session.
