According to Google maps, Pullman, Washington is approximately 2,542 miles away from Washington, D.C. However, don’t assume that just because 13, 421,760 feet stand between our office here in the nation’s capital and Martin Stadium that we are any less excited than the thousands of fans that will be descending upon Pullman on Friday for the Apple Cup.
We will be putting on our Cougar gear and cheering on the Washington State University Cougars as they take on the University of Washington Huskies, at the Crystal City Sports Club located at 529 23rd Street South in Arlington, Virginia on Friday, November 23 at 3:30 p.m. The WSU Alumni Association DC Chapter will be decking the halls with crimson and gray and hosting the viewing party in partnership with the Washington State Society (WSS) and the University of Washington Alumni Association DC Chapter. All Cougs are invited to attend and encouraged to participate in a toy drive by bringing a new unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots charity for an opportunity to win WSU themed prizes.
