Bill would remove ability to set differential tuition

The House Higher Education committee heard public testimony Tuesday concerning House Bill 1043 which would remove the authority for public baccalaureate institutions to set differential tuition rates for resident, undergraduate programs.

The Legislature in 2011 granted differential tuition setting authority for high cost programs under House Bill 1795.
