Legislation would form student advisory committee

On Wednesday, the House Higher Education committee heard public testimony on House Bill 1331, which would permit higher education student associations to form an advisory committee to advise the institution’s administration on issues that affect student access and success, such as tuition and fees.

The legislation would require higher ed. administrators to make information available to the student advisory committee and allow them to present their recommendations.
