WSU gives lawmakers overview of agricultural research program federal funding

The Senate Agriculture, Water & Rural Economic Development committee Thursday held a work session to discuss the status of the federal funding WSU receives for its agricultural research programs.

Dan Bernardo, WSU Vice President for Agriculture and Extension and Dean of the College of Agriculture, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS), provided the committee an overview of WSU’s agricultural research programs, and WSU Director of Federal Relations Glynda Becker presented the status of federal funding for those programs.
