Priority efficiency bill passed out of committee

The House Higher Education Committee this morning advanced House Bill 1769, a priority bill for the higher education sector.

The bill would create efficiencies in the WSU capital budget by allowing small maintenance, preservation and safety projects to be completed faster. It also would help intermediate projects be completed within a single two-year budget cycle, saving on construction costs.
