Week of June 10, 2013 Hearing Schedule

Monday kicked off the start to a busy week in both the House and Senate.  Yesterday the Senate passed the five-year Farm Bill (S.954) with a vote off 66-27 and move onto a vote today on a comprehensive immigration bill titled the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act (S.744).  The House will begin debating their version of Farm Bill next week while this week they will focus attention on the National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 1960) and the 2014 Department of Energy budget.

Throughout the week, we are also expecting conversations around immigration and student loan interest rates to continue.  In addition to ongoing debates around the National Security Agency (NSA) and the classified PRISM program.
