Gavels have fallen in the state Senate and House of Representatives ushering in this year’s 60-day legislative session.
Legislators will waste no time in getting to work in their respective committees, as the first of a series of legislative deadlines emerges in less than four weeks.
Testimony will be taken today and Wednesday in House and Senate budget committees on the governor’s proposed supplemental budget. And WSU will present to the House Higher Education Committee on Wednesday about enrollment expansion plans.
